1. Agreement and operator
These Terms form an agreement between you and the owner and administrator of whatevergo.com, operating WhateverGo as an independent educational project. By creating an account or using a private study feature, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer or privacy right that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
2. Age, authority and accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must permit and appropriately supervise your use.
- You must provide accurate information and may use only an account you control.
- Google sign-in is available. An email-password account may also be offered where the feature is enabled; you must verify the email address and protect your password, linked Google account and device.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not share a session or attempt to bypass account security.
- One person may not create accounts in bulk to evade quotas, restrictions or enforcement.
3. What WhateverGo provides
WhateverGo provides A Level-oriented notes, study organisation, saved conversations, subject tools and AI-assisted tutoring. Features, subjects, quotas and free access may change as the project develops. Unless a paid plan is expressly offered under separate purchase terms, no payment is required and no promise of permanent or unlimited service is made.
Materials may contain errors, omissions or outdated syllabus details. Always verify important content against the current examination-board specification, teacher guidance and official source material. WhateverGo is not an examination board, school or awarding body and is not endorsed by Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel, WJEC or another board unless expressly stated.
4. AI tutor features
AI output is probabilistic and may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or fabricated. It is study assistance, not an answer key, grade prediction or professional advice. You remain responsible for checking outputs and for work you submit.
- Do not rely on AI for medical, legal, financial, safeguarding, emergency or other high-stakes decisions.
- Do not upload sensitive personal information, confidential school records, unreleased exam materials or content you lack permission to use.
- AI requests may be processed by DeepSeek for text and Kimi/Moonshot AI for vision, as explained in the AI Data & Safety Notice.
- You must follow your school and examination body's academic-integrity rules. Passing AI output off as your own where prohibited is not permitted.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- break the law, infringe rights, harass, exploit or endanger another person;
- upload malware, malicious instructions, illegal content, sexual content involving minors, or content intended to facilitate serious wrongdoing;
- attack, probe, reverse engineer, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service, accounts or providers;
- bypass authentication, CSRF protections, rate limits, AI quotas or geographic/feature restrictions;
- scrape, crawl or automate requests in a way that burdens the service, except ordinary search-engine indexing permitted by site controls;
- resell access, impersonate another person or misrepresent AI output as official WhateverGo or examination-board material; or
- use the service to cheat, distribute live examination content or violate an institution's rules.
Good-faith security reports should be sent privately to yuchenwang0115@gmail.com and must avoid privacy violations, data destruction and service disruption.
6. Your content and platform rights
You keep ownership of content you submit. You give WhateverGo a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, copy, transmit and process that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the requested service, respond to support, and comply with law. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for isolated backups, legal obligations and content already lawfully de-identified.
You promise that you have the necessary rights to submit the content. WhateverGo does not claim ownership of your prompts or original study work.
The site's software, interface, branding and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use them personally for study, but may not copy substantial parts, remove notices, sell them or create a confusingly similar service without permission. Third-party names and materials remain the property of their owners.
8. Changes, availability and enforcement
We may maintain, change, limit or discontinue a feature for security, legal, technical or sustainability reasons. We will try to give reasonable notice of a material reduction affecting saved data, when practical.
Access may be limited or suspended where reasonably necessary to investigate a security issue, prevent harm, comply with law or respond to a material breach. Except in urgent cases, we will try to explain the reason and offer a reasonable opportunity to appeal. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time.
Updates to these Terms will show a new date and version. Material changes will be highlighted before they take effect where reasonably possible. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law.
9. Warranties and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no guarantee is made that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, suitable for a particular exam result or that AI output will be correct. You should keep copies of important work.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WhateverGo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunity, lost marks, lost data or reliance on AI output. If liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to losses that were reasonably foreseeable from a breach and, for a free service, to the greater of GBP 50 (or local equivalent) and any amount you paid to WhateverGo in the preceding 12 months.
This limit does not apply to fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability or mandatory consumer remedy that law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
10. Regional consumer terms
中国大陆
WhateverGo 是在中国大陆境外运营的独立教育网站，并非在中国大陆设立或备案为境内网络服务提供者。若本条款适用于中国大陆消费者，任何依法不得排除的消费者权益、人格权益、个人信息权益及网络安全要求均不因本条款而被排除。若某项功能无法在适用法律下合法、可靠地提供，本网站可以暂停该功能，而不会虚构已完成不适用的“中国数据出境”手续。
United Kingdom
Nothing in these Terms affects rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other mandatory UK law. Digital content and services must be provided with legally required care and conformity. UK consumers may bring claims in the courts available to them under mandatory jurisdiction rules. The exclusions and cap in section 9 apply only where lawful.
Hong Kong SAR
Mandatory protections under Hong Kong law, including applicable controls on exemption clauses and personal-data rights, continue to apply. No wording excludes liability where doing so would be prohibited or unreasonable under applicable law.
Singapore
Mandatory protections under Singapore law, including the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, Unfair Contract Terms Act and PDPA where applicable, continue to apply. Any exclusion or limitation operates only to the extent it is lawful and reasonable.
11. Disputes and governing rules
Please first email a concise description of the issue so we can try to resolve it informally. The law and courts determined by applicable conflict-of-law and consumer rules govern a dispute. If you are a consumer, you retain the mandatory protections and forum rights of your habitual residence where those rules apply.
If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcement is not a waiver. These Terms, together with referenced notices and any feature-specific written terms, are the agreement concerning the service.
