1. Make a request

Email yuchenwang0115@gmail.com from the address linked to your account where possible. You may ask for:

  • access to or a copy of account and saved study data;
  • correction of inaccurate profile information;
  • deletion of chats, study data or the whole account;
  • restriction or objection where applicable;
  • portable data where applicable; or
  • information about providers, purposes or international processing.

2. Suggested email

Subject: WhateverGo privacy request

Account email: [your account email]
Request: [access / correction / account deletion / other]
Scope: [all data or specified subject/chat]
Region: [country/region, if relevant to your legal rights]
Details: [anything needed to locate the record]

Do not include a password, Google authentication code or identity document.

3. Identity verification

We must avoid giving one person's data to another. Verification normally uses control of the account email or a fresh sign-in. Only proportionate additional information will be requested where necessary. An authorised representative may be asked to show valid authority and the user's identity may still need confirmation.

4. What deletion does

Account deletion removes or de-identifies the account profile, active sessions, device records and server-saved study/chat records, subject to legal, security and short backup exceptions. It cannot retract content already lawfully processed by an AI provider, but we will pass on a request where required and technically possible.

Browser local storage is separate. Clear site data for whatevergo.com in every browser/device to remove local-only chats, theme and progress. Deleting local storage does not by itself delete server data, and deleting the server account may not clear every browser copy.

5. Timing and limitations

Requests are handled without undue delay. Applicable periods include:

  • UK: normally within one month, subject to lawful extension.
  • Hong Kong: a compliant data access request is generally handled within 40 days, subject to statutory requirements and exceptions.
  • Singapore: within the period required by the PDPA framework, with an estimate given if more time is reasonably needed.
  • Mainland China: within the timeframe required if the PIPL applies to the processing.

A request may be limited where law protects another person's rights, legal privilege, security, fraud prevention or a legal claim. We will explain a refusal where the law permits.

6. Complaints

Please contact us first so we can investigate. You may also contact the competent authority:

  • UK Information Commissioner's Office
  • Hong Kong PCPD
  • Singapore PDPC
